Chattanooga Whiskey was founded in 2011 by Tim Piersant to bring whiskey production back to Chattanooga after a 100-year prohibition. The company challenged and won the right to distill whiskey in Hamilton County, Tennessee for the first time since 1915, operating two distilleries: an Experimental Distillery in downtown Chattanooga focused on innovation and a Riverfront Distillery for signature production. Known for their Tennessee High Malt whiskey style and prolific Experimental Single Batch Series, Chattanooga Whiskey has become a leader in craft American whiskey.
