Maker's Mark is a Kentucky bourbon distillery founded by Bill Samuels, Sr., located at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky, a designated Kentucky and National Historic Landmark. The distillery is known for its wheated bourbon recipe using soft red winter wheat instead of rye, hand-rotated barrels, and the iconic hand-dipped red wax seal on every bottle.
