About
Left Bank is a bourbon distillery that distills and ages its whisky on the banks of the Ohio River in Kentucky before shipping it by barrel down the Mississippi River to New Orleans, where it is carefully married into small batches and bottled. Founded by Joshua Easton and Ken Hagan, the distillery recreates a historical practice from the early 1800s when merchants would send Kentucky whisky downriver to enhance its flavor through the journey. Each batch is barreled and bottled by hand, with proprietary oak staves added during the aging process to maximize the interaction between bourbon and oak.
